Water Well System

Service, Repair, Maintenance

Wells and the water systems can provide years of trouble-free operation. Over time however, equipment and parts can start to fail (and you may not even notice)! Wells should be inspected and maintained at an interval right for your well’s application.

Wells are some of the safest, cleanest way to provide water for residential, commercial, farm/agriculture, and irrigation applications. But it’s the owner’s responsibility to maintain and regularly test the water to ensure it is potable and safe to use. Surface contaminants MUST be prevented from entering the aquifer due to poor well construction or improper maintenance. Traditional water samples only test for the main contaminants such as bacteria and nitrates. However, they don’t test for things like metals, VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), pesticides, or PFA’s ( per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances or “forever” chemicals). Most of these aren’t a concern unless present nearby. But, they are also not usually tested for regularly. A basic test for bacteria and nitrates is usually recommended annually for most wells.
